Osun United players and technical crew will today resume training to continue with the preparation for the upcoming Nigeria National League (NNL).
The league is scheduled to start January 16, 2020.
It will be recalled that the team was granted a week break in order to celebrate the Yuletide season with thaeir families.
Team Manager, Kabiru Adekunle in statement enjoined all players to reports at the team’s camp as full training begins on Monday morning at the Osogbo Township Stadium.
“We congratulate all our players, coaching crew, fans and supporters for the successful and peaceful celebration of Christmas and New Year.
“We similarly welcome everyone to the beginning of a new league season after more than a year NNL last kicked a ball due to the abrupt suspension of the league and the outbreak of COVID-19 which halted all activities including football.
“It is crystal clear that the league will begin in few weeks, hence the need to start our preparation now. Any player that fails to resume by Monday will be considered to have voluntarily left the club.”
