No action for Sunshine as league kicks off

Sunshine Stars Football Club, will take no part in the match day one of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) kicking off Sunday 3rd 2019.

The League Management Company (LMC) has postponed Owena Whales league opener away match against Rangers International Football Club of Enugu due to Rangers’ Continental engagement.

As a result of the following, the darling team of Ondo State will start the 2019/2020 new season on match day two at home against Warri Wolves.

In the same vein, Enyimba International Football Club would not be able to host their visitors from Nasarawa State, Nasarawa United football Club in the season opener owing to Continental engagement as well.

Meanwhile Sunshine Stars are now in Ibadan for a10 – day training camp in continuation of their preparation ahead of the new season.
