He urged women to pass the message to their children, noting that they have vital roles to play in educating their children on the pandemic.

Responding, the state President of NCWS, Mrs Jumoke Aborode emphasised the need for government and individuals to continue presenting palliatives to everybody, especially the vulnerable to cushion the effects of the stay-at-home order.

According to her, many people are still crying of hunger within the neighbourhood despite the council’s effort to complement governments’ efforts on palliatives.

“Many people run to us crying of hunger, believing that we are part of government agency equipped to cushion the effect of government’s orders, not knowing that what we did was self sponsored and nobody empowered us to do so ,” she said.
