Sunshine Stars Goalkeeper, Mustapha Lawal shined as Akure Landlords held Rangers International Football club to 1-1 draw at Awka City stadium,Enugu.
Lawal denied the host from the spot in the 90th minute after the center referee awarded a penalty kick against Sunshine Stars for handball in the box .
Rangers International took the lead in the 14th minute through an own goal from Sunshine Stars’ Ikemodinachi Imo.
The jubilation of the gifted goal was cut short minutes later as Ibrahim Yusuf fired a missile to the top corner of the net from Ejike Uzoechi’s assist to give the visitors a leveller.
Further goals eluded for both sides in the remainder of the encounter as Sunshine Stars shared the spoils of the match day three of the group B of the Abridged 2022/23 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)
