Sunshine Stars, football club of Ondo State narrowly lost their match day 10 fixtures in the Nigeria Premier football league to Insurance of Benin at their adopted home ground in Ijebu Ode Ogún State.

Insurance of Benin got the first goal in the first half while Sunshine stars equalized from Sodiq Ibrahim before the end of first half to make it 1-1.

The second goal came in the second half of the game courtesy a volley from Bendel Insurance midfielder which ended the game 2-1.

Sunshine Stars coach Kennedy Boboye made Substitutions to turn the game around but his opponent Monday Odigie locked the defence to prevent Sunshine Stars strikes from getting an equalizer.

The Owena whales will travel to face heartland of Owerri in their next encounter.
