Coach Monday Odigie has resigned as the Technical Adviser of Bendel Insurance.

Odigie guided the Nigeria Premier Football League side back to the elite division about 4 seasons ago and tutored the team to the CAF Confederation Cup.

The team struggled to survive relegation last season and had a difficult start to the 2024/2025 league season.

According to the update from the team’s camp, Odigie handed his resignation letter to the club secretary, Mr Charles Ihikmekpen.

Bendel Insurance is presently at the bottom of the NPFL table with 12 points in 12 matches.
