Bendel Insurance yesterday defeated Sunshine Stars in the match day 13 of the Nigeria Premier League Football NPFL match played at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.

Benjamin Tanimu put the host ahead in the second minute of the game having scored from  penalty kick.

Sunshine Stars mount pressure on their host to get a leveller which was never successful as the first half ended in the host advantage.

The Akure Landlords continued with the high intensity in the second half to get a leveller  which was met with stiff resistance by their host.

All the tricks deployed by Sunshine Stars wasn’t successful as the host kept it tight to keep the maximum points in their Kitty.
