Sunshine Stars Football will on Sunday trade tackles against Lobi Stars of Makurdi in the match day two game of the 2023/24 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The match will be played at the Lafia Stadium, the adopted home Lobi Stars.
Sunshine Stars are currently 7th on the log having defeating Kano Pillars 1-0 in the opening match encounter of the league at the Ondo State Sports complex Akure.
In a chat with Sporting Hope Some of the Akure based side supporters, Ganiyu Onileola urged the team to go all out to do the state proud saying with determination that the current squad can beat any team in the league.
He said he was impressed with team’s performance against Kano Pillars on Saturday adding that all they need to is to convert their chances.
According to hm, “the players are very good, they only need time to blend together as a team, I will also appeal to others fans to give the team time.”
“Let the management also ensure they tied these players down with contract,to put an end to starting over every season.”
