NPFL: Rangers pip Sunshine stars 2-1

Sunshine Stars slipped to a 1- 2 loss to Rangers International Football Club of Enugu in a Week 15 Nigeria Professional Football League played at the Ondo State Sports Complex , Akure the state Capital.
Seka Pascal had earlier given Enugu Rangers the lead in the 23rd minute of the encounter, before Anthony Omaka reduced the deficit in the 30th minute .
Rangers, Pascal made it 2-1for the visitors in the 43rd minute through an alleged offside position, the first half of the encounter ended 2-1.
Sunshine Stars’ goal was disallowed by the center referee in the 84th minutes from a spot kick rebound for offside .
Another penalty appeal for Sunshine Stars in the 88th minute was waived for simulation and Sunshine Stars Amah booked instead.
The game ended in 1- 2 in the advantage of the visitors .
With the loss, the Owena Whales are now on 7th position on the log, before their next game away to Rivers United in the week 16 of the NPFL .
