Sunshine Stars yesterday forced Lobi Stars to a goalless draw in the match day 29 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) decided at the Apar Aku Stadium Makurdi.
Sunshine Stars were frequently terrorized, but the visitor’s Goalkeeper, Japhet Opubo was in his best to deny the hosts in the first half.
The restart of the thrilling encounter saw Lobi Stars awarded a penalty which was saved by the Sunshine Stars Goalkeeper in the 50 minutes.
Efforts by the hosts to grab the maximum points were resisted by Sunshine Stars as the encounter ended in a goalless draw.
