NPFL: Sunshine Stars ‘ll start second stanza
with more determination – Commissioner

Ondo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Mr Bamidele Ologunloluwa has assured football enthusiasts in the state that Sunshine Stars FC will commence the second stanza of the league with more determination.

Ologunloluwa stated this in a chat with newsmen after Sunshine Stars retained the 2023 FA Cup.

He said the team’s target was to end the league as one of the top three in Group B of the 2022/23 Abridged Nigeria Premier Football League, saying that will make the team qualify for the super six at the end of the season.

The commissioner added that the players were training to come out more stronger in the league, saying the team will not take anything for granted by working hard.

He said: “We have promised to make the football loving people of the state happy ,knowing fully well that they love the round leather game .

We will work harder, pray fervently to ensure we play in the super six, so that we can represent the country continentally”.
