Sunshine Stars Football Club yesterday held to a 1-1 draw with Rangers International in the match day 13 of the abridged Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
The week 13 match decided at the Ondo State Sports complex saw Yusuf Ibrahim gave Sunshine Stars the lead in the 13th minute of the encounter.
Rangers levelled up with their host 12th minute later after a defensive mixed up between the home team goalkeeper and one his defenders.
Both sides were unable to make any difference in the first stanza of the encounter.
While Sunshine Stars efforts to unlock the backline of their visitors were unsuccessful in the second stanza of the game.
The Akure Landlords efforts paid off in the 89th minute after they scored from a rebound. To the chagrin of the spectators the goal was disallowed.
The recent result made it two consecutive draw at home for Sunshine Stars.
