Sunshine Stars Football Club yesterday were unable to break their winless run against Lobi Stars of Markurdi in the match day 24 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) decided at the Apar Aku Stadium, Markurdi.
Ugonna headed home from Abe Sunday corner kick to give Sunshine Stars the lead in the 15th minute of the encounter.
Lobi Stars cut the visitors jubilation short three minutes later from John Lazarus fierce drive from the edge.
Ossy Martins inflicted more injury to Sunshine woes in the 25th minute to ensure Lobi Stars lead going to the half time.
The second half failed to produce any goal from both sides as Lobi Stars left with the available three points.
