NRA exam peaceful in Ondo State –OSSC GM

Nigeria Referee Association (NRA) promotion examination in Ondo State has been described as peaceful and apt.

The General Manager of the Ondo State Sports Council (OSSC), Mr Wande Fabuluje disclosed this to sports journalists while on monitoring visit to  the venue of the examination at the school for the hearing impaired in Akure the state capital.

The former secretary of the Ondo State football referee council said he visited the venue of the examination center to monitor the exam and in  solidarity with his association’s members  to ensure hitch free conduct of the examination in the state.

The NRA promotion exams are conducted nation wide every three years to evaluate the performances of referees periodically.

The examination is in three categories from Referee in Training (RIT) to enable them  obtain grade Three ,Two and One certificate respectively.

The  exam supervisor from Ogun State, Mr Obayemi Tubosun commended the Ondo State referee council for its maturity through out the time the exam lasted.

Tubosun said; “I am satisfied with the conduct of the Ondo state referee in the examination hall”.

Thirty four Ondo State football referees sat for the promotion examination in the state.

Some of the referees that  sat for the promotion exam expressed optimism that they  will do well when the  results are out.
