NSCDC arrest two for distribution of hard drugs

Ondo State command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has apprehended two suspects for dealing in narcotics in Akure.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Daniel Aidamenbor said the suspects were arrested on 3rd July 2024 at Benue Hotel Area, Shasha market, Oba Ile in Akure North Local Government Area of the state.

He gave the names of the suspects as Chukwudi Victor Amoke, a resident of Zone A Glory land Akure.

He said the suspect hails from Igboeze South local government area of Enugu State.

The NSCDC also identified Timilehin Abed of number 24 Sasa Market, Akure who hails from Ilogbo Ekiti, Ekiti State as

He said the exhibits recovered from the suspects who already confessed to the crime include cannabis, tramadol, loud and ice.

He disclosed that the suspects will be handed over to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) for prosecution.
