NSF 2022: We ‘II surpass Edo 2020 feat – Ondo boxing coach

Ondo State boxing coach, Moses Osifo has said his boxers are physically and mentally ready to maintain their good outing at the 21st National Sports Festival slated for Asaba this month.

He added that boxing has wonderful athletes that can give the state the desired result and surpass Edo 2020 edition.

Osifo in a chat with Sporting Hope  said they are seriously preparing to forge ahead as a leading boxing state.

He said the coaches are doing their best to impact the right techniques into the athletes to be successful.

He noted that with the right motivation the athletes will continue to do the state proud.

According to him ,what boost morale and bring out the best out of the athletes is award, let the government recognize them whenever they come from National Sports Festival.

“If they give them award, it will go a long way to boost their morale and it will translate to high performance from them.

“We are pleading with the state government that they should use their good office to award these athletes when they come back from the games.”

He said: “We won Seven Medals in Edo 2020, two gold, two silver and three bronze medals, with God on our side, we will surpass this feat in Asaba 2022.”
