NSF: Preparation in top gear- Fabuluje

The General Manager of Ondo State Sports Council (OSSC), Mr Wande Fabuluje has revealed that the preparation for the National Sports Festival slated for Edo state later this month is in top gear.

Fabuluje stated this in an interview with Sporting Hope in Akure, the state Capital.

He revealed further that the state will be participating in 23 games at the festival, saying athletes will resume camp Wednesday which will last for two weeks, before their departure to the festival.

While commending the state government for approving the State’s participation in the national fiesta, he appealed  for the quick release of funds to enable them execute all their plans for the festival.

He said ,the athletes and their coaches needed to be motivated for optimum performance

He added that what the athletes did at the zonal elimination was novel in Ondo state sports  history by qualified in all the ball games participated including Beach Volleyball that was not in the picture going into the elimination.

His words, “with same Lagos elimination spirit ,I’m sure we are going to perform better than we did in Abuja 2018.”

Recalled that Ondo State was 10th at the National Festival held in Abuja two years ago.
