NUJ mourns Ondo SSG Temitayo Oluwatuyi
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo State Council, has expressed its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Secretary to the Ondo State Government (SSG), Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi, as well as Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Ondo State Government, and the people of the state over the loss of one of its distinguished politicians.
In a press statement signed by the Chairman, Prince Leke Adegbite, and the State Secretary, Comrade Olaoluwa Meshack, the NUJ extended its sympathies to Oluwatuyi’s wife, children, and the people of Akure, describing the loss as sudden, painful, and irreparable.
The union acknowledged the late SSG’s reputation as a gentle, reliable, and peaceful politician, noting his contributions as a notable philanthropist and a friend of the media.
The NUJ stated that the vacuum created by his demise would not be easily filled.
“We are deeply shocked by this tragic news but urge his family and constituents to take solace in the fact that only God, the giver of life, knows the appointed time for every living being,” the statement reads.
Hon. Temitayo Oluwatuyi was celebrated for his political finesse, strategic acumen, and generosity, which left a lasting impact on the people of Akure and beyond.
The NUJ prayed for the repose of his soul and strength for all who were affected by this unimaginable loss.
