NUJ woos ABUAD Radio into membership

…hails station’s professionalism
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ekiti State Council, has formally invited ABUAD Radio 88.1 FM to join its fold, commending the station’s professionalism, vibrant content and adherence to ethical journalism.
The announcement came during a courtesy visit to the station by a delegation of the NUJ, led by the State Chairman, Mr. Kayode Babatuyi.
In his remarks, Babatuyi emphasised the importance of strategic alliances in journalism, describing ABUAD Radio as a station which consistent and impactful broadcasting serves both the university community and the broader society.
“There are some partnerships that are mutual, and when you have that kind of partnership, both sides are always happy.
“Our coming here today is to woo ABUAD into becoming a member of the NUJ family. Your involvement will be an added advantage to our union,” he stated.
In his welcome address, The Station Manager Dr. Layi Ajisafe expressed deep appreciation for the visit, describing it as both an honour and a source of encouragement.
“It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to ABUAD Radio 88.1 FM.
Since our inception, we have remained unwavering in our commitment to inform, educate and inspire, not only the university community, but the wider society.”
