As Nigeria Women Football League resumes 8th December 2021, Sunshine Queens have been drawn in a group of death.
Sunshine Queens were drawn in group B which comprised of the defending Champions,Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens and others .
According to the NWFL Congress the 2021/ 22 league would take abridge format

Adamawa Queens| Confluence Queens| Edo Queens | Osun Babes| Pelican Stars| Naija Ratels| Nasarawa Amazons.
Group B.
Abia Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens,Rivers Angels,FC Robo Queens, Royal Queens, Sunshine Queens.
