NWFL: Sunshine Queens hit Portharcourt for Angels cracker

As Sunshine Queens storm Rivers State for the matchday four of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) against Rivers Angels, the assistant captain of the Akure based side, Kehinde Aganmuyi has said they are ready for the encounter slated for Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Igwuruta, Portharcourt today.

Sunshine Queens had lost 0-1 to Edo Queens in their last home match.

Aganmuyi in a chat with the newsmen disclosed that the previous results fell short of their expectations, saying they have put the points lost behind them and ready to make up for the lost points.

She added that they are not in Rivers State for fun, adding that they are here for serious business with all hands on deck for maximum points.

She said: “We are physically, spiritually and psychologically ready to recoup the lost points here, this is a game of same numbers ,so we don’t care about where we are playing, if other teams can get points in our home, we can as well get away points.”

“I’m banking on the hardwork of our coaches, because they have Impacted all the necessary strategy on us to win, and all we can do for them is to give them positive results, starting from today’s game.”

“We have talked to ourselves on why we must up our game in all departments to ensure we start winning games to make our fans happy”.
