He said,” with the intensive training giving to the athletes and their attitude to training which he said is a source of motivation for the coaching crew, we are very hopeful that they are ready to change the narrative this time”.
“We are ready to make up for the 2019 games, where we couldn’t win anything for the state. We are ready this time more than ever before to raise the state’s flag high,” he said.
The ex-table tennis star added that “Ondo State is not a pushover at any category in the ping pong game, at this year’s Youth Games, we are going to prove our worth at this level.”

He averred that the players are in good shape, well equipped with the needed equipment for the competition, they won’t be intimidated by their opponents like before.
“Equipment is very important in any game, if an athletes is well dressed, with good equipment such will be naturally motivated to give his best, if reverse is the case, it will take the grace of God, because such an athlete has already been defeated emotionally before the competition.
