OAUSTECH matriculates 1500

The Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, (OAUSTECH) Okitipupa has matriculated 1,500 students.

According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Temi Ologunorisa, at the 12th matriculation ceremony held at the university auditorium, the students were admitted to the School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology, the School of Management Sciences, and the School of Science.

Ologunorisa disclosed that, out of about 2,000 candidates that applied to the institution to study various courses being offered in the Institution, only 1,545 candidates were offered admission for the 2022/2023 academic session, having been found successful in the mandatory Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

The VC congratulated the students for being among the lucky ones, saying it calls for deep reflections.
