OAUSTECH VC, Ologunorisa mourns Akeredolu

The Vice-Chancellor, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa,
Prof. Temi Ologunorisa has mourned the passing of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.
Ologunorisa in his condolence message tagged: “Ondo State Grief: The Death of A Colossus of Our Time, Aketi” in Okitipupa, said that Akeredolu’s death was a grief to family, the state and Nigeria at large.
He said that Akeredolu’s legacy as a man of integrity and a stalwart of his word would be eternally revered adding that his unwavering commitment to the betterment of the state has left an indelible mark on the his of the state.
According to him, It is with immense grief and a profound sense of loss that we extend our heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire OAUSTECH,
“We stand in solidarity and empathy with the people of Ondo State and the family of our dearly departed governor, whose passing has cast a pall of sorrow over our entire state. Gov. Akeredolu’s demise has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts and in the governance of Ondo State.
“His legacy, as a man of integrity and a stalwart of his word, will be eternally revered. His unwavering commitment to the betterment of our state, even in the face of adversities, has left an indelible mark on the history of Ondo State.
“His accomplishments, a testament to his dedication and tireless efforts, will resonate through the ages.
“As the Vice Chancellor of OAUSTECH, alongside the entire Governing Council, management, staff, and students, wish to express our deepest sympathies and solidarity during this time of immense loss. Gov. Akeredolu’s support to the advancement of education was unwavering, and we stand as witnesses to the positive transformations he enabled in our academic landscape.
“His passing is not just a loss for the political realm; it is a loss for the entire fabric of our society. We share in your grief, and we pledge to honour his memory by continuing to uphold the values of integrity, diligence, and progress that he championed throughout his tenure.
“During this period of mourning, may our collective strength and unity serve as a beacon of hope and support for one another. Let us come together in remembrance, celebrating the life and legacy of Akeredolu, a leader whose impact will endure beyond the sands of time,” Ologunorisa said.
While praying for the repose of the soul of Akeredolu, he added that the thoughts and prayers are with the people of the state and the bereaved family during the trying period.
