The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for the House of Representatives seat  for Owo/ Ose Federal Constituency, Mr. Sodiq Obanoyen has vowed to  inject fresh ideas that will boost the political development of his  constituency.

Obanoyen made the promise in Owo where he was set to involve all and sundry particularly community heads in decision making process if elected.

He said, his target is to ensure all hands be on deck in order to change the narrative in the political system in the constituency.

Obanoyen said his involvement in politics is to add to the developmental stride of the country and his constituency by injecting fresh ideas to enhance the development that he so much craved for.

He promised to have a constituency office in the two local government where the people who have challenges can channel it, not necessarily need to resort to begging at the door step of a politicians  as  politics is about service to the people and not a means to enrich one self.

Obanoyen preached against monetization, saying people should be able to choose their leaders based on track record, ability, capacity and not on  primordial factors like vote buying .

He urged the electorate to vehemently reject politicians with money bag politics  who  prevent  people  from having  access to them except in public functions.

He said Nigerian can now know the negative effects of “Edibo Esebe”which has ravaged  the  political system   saying that   vote for candidates who have people-oriented programmes .
