Akure South Local Government has defeated Ondo East to qualify for the semi final of Obas’ Cup.
Akure South LG, scored the lone goal 10 minutes to end the tensed encounter at Ijapo Housing field.
Akure South had earlier romped past Ifedore 4-0 before limping over their Ondo East counterpart.
While Ile -oluji /Oke-Igbo got the better side of their opponent from Okitipupa with first half lone goal.
Ileoluji/Oke-Igbo also drubbed Ese – Odo 4-0 earlier on their way to the thier victory over Okitipupa.
Meanwhile Akoko North West pipped Akoko South West 1- to also join the other two LGs in the semi finals.
Akoko North West put four past Owo LG before their success against their South West counterpart.
Two best losers in the competition will face each other today to decide the fourth semi finalist.
