Ondo State Contributory Health Commission has held a strategic thinking, planning and execution workshop to optimize health insurance scheme in the state.
The workshop which has senior and mid-level staff in attendance is geared towards developing strategic visions; setting goals and objectives; designing organizational structure and operational policies to successfully implement the mandate of providing health insurance for all residents of the state.
In his opening remarks, Director-General, Dr Abiodun Oyeneyin appreciated the members of staff for their commitment to work while encouraging them not to relent on their effort.
He opined that part of welfare of staff is to equip them adequately for the task at hand which can only be done by learning and relearning for quantitative delivery.
The Orange Health Insurance Scheme for public servants which is fast becoming a household name in the state needs all hands to be on deck for seamless health care delivery which will also improve the productivity of public servants as good health is paramount to discharge ones duties.
CEO Autusbridge Ltd, Mr Olugbenga Johnson who is the lead facilitator, made it known that at the end of the training, participants will be able to confidently think strategically, plan methodologically and implement efficiently.
