ODHA congratulates lawmakers-elect

The Ondo State House of Assembly has congratulated all the newly elected members in the just concluded House of Assembly election in the State.
The Speaker, Oleyelogun Bamidele David, on behalf of Members of the 9th Assembly rejoiced with members-elect and prayed to God Almighty to grant them wisdom, knowledge, understanding and strength to paddle the canoe of the 10th Assembly to a remarkable destination.
He charged the newly elected lawmakers to remain focus and brace up for the task ahead.
Oleyelogun stated further that the All Progressives Congress remains the popular party in the state as it won 22 seats out of the 26.
While specially congratulating the returning members, in a statement made available to The Hope by the Chairman House Committee on information,Akogun Olugbenga Omole,the Speaker urged those who could not make re-election to note that hope is not lost, as the future is bright, stressing “when there is life, there is hope”.
He assured that the 9th assembly will continue to do its best in the remaining months to move the State forward.
The lawmakers commended the people of the state for the maturity displayed before and during the elections.
