ODHA considers two bills

A bill for a law to provide for the establishment of a board for the management of secondary schools in Ondo State is being considered by the State House of Assembly.

Also being considered, is the bill to prohibit forceful entry and illegal occupation of landed property, violent and fraudulent conducts in relation to landed property in the State.

The proposed bills were sent to the legislature by the State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

The Clerk of the House, Benjamin Jaiyeola, read the letters on the floor of the House at a plenary presided over by the Speaker, Olamide Oladiji.

The Speaker explained that the bills are very important, and for that reason, the House will give them the necessary consideration and attention.

Oladiji commended the State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his desire to continue prioritizing the education sector which he described as the bedrock of development in any nation as well as his passion to protect not only government property but that of residents.
