Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly have congratulated the Speaker of the House, Olamide Oladiji as he would be installed with the Honorary Chieftaincy title of BAAMOYE of Ondo Kingdom by the Osemawe of Ondo kingdom, Oba Adesimbo Victor Kiladejo.

Felicitating him through the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Chief Olatunji Oshati, the lawmakers said the well-deserved honour is a confirmation of his passion for humanity and communal growth.

“This, no doubt is contrary to the popular saying that a prophet has no honour in his home town.Your exceptional character and unwavering dedicated to uplifting people has earned you this honour,”he said.

While describing the Speaker as an erudite politician, educationist and a God-fearing man, whose destiny has bestowed on him, a lasting legacy of being the 1st person in ondo kingdom to become the Speaker of the state house of Assembly, Oshati lauded the Osemawe for the unique recognition.

The House Spokesman who attributed the existing harmony in the House to his leadership prowess, experience and expertise in legislative matter, assured that all hands would be on deck to continue to bring prosperity to the overall development of Ondo State.

The Installation ceremony which comes up on November 10, 2023 is expected to be graced with eminent personalities from both within and outside the country.
