The Ondo state House of Assembly and the the Ondo state Agricultural Commodities Associations, OSACA have synergized to develop agriculture at the grassroots in involving everybody in the rural communities.
Speaking while playing host to members of the association, the Speaker, Mr Olamide Oladiji expressed his happiness and a assured that the representative members will always work with the farmers body to take agricultural development to the grassroots.
He urged them to always carry them along, remembering that they are representatives of the people who will take their message to the grassroots.
Earlier, Chairman of OSACA who led the team on the visit, Mr. Gbenga Obaweya said the visit was to familiarize with the assembly members, congratulate them, wish them successful tenure and to assure on their continuous collaboration with the assembly.
He added that the visit is to intimate them with the Obe project and present them samples so that they can localise and do training in different representative areas for the people at the grassroots to also benefit from the project.
Obaweya further informed the house about the information hub which digitalise agricultural business, saying they want it extended to the grassroots for partnership.
With the development, Obaweya said farmers at the rural areas can also register in the information hub and benefit from OSACA and to involve them in the yearly international Agric show coming up in November.
