Members of the Ondo State House of Assembly are to resume legislative activities on Thursday, March 2, 2023 after some weeks of recess.
The Lawmakers have been given the necessary 72 hours normal notice to resume, starting from today, Monday, February 27, 2023.
This was contained in a statement made by the Clerk of the House, Benjamin Jaiyeola, who stated that the resumption is at the instance of the Speaker of the House, Bamidele Oleyelogun, calling all the State House of Assembly Members to resume on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
The Speaker of the House, while presiding at a plenary on February 2, 2023 during the confirmation of the State Chief Judge and Members of Judicial Service Commission announced that the House is going back on recess due to the forthcoming general elections, while a 72 hours notice will be given to members by the Clerk before resumption.
The lawmakers are by this notice expected to attend to legislative assignments accordingly while Mr. Speaker wishes all Honourable Members travelling, grace back from their various constituencies.
