The Transition Committee Chairman of Odigbo Local Government, Hon. Adegoroye Taiwo, has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his well-deserved victory in the 16 November gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

Speaking with our correspondent, Adegoroye extended his heartfelt congratulations to Governor Aiyedatiwa, who emerged victorious with an impressive total of 366,781 votes, defeating his rival, Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party, who garnered 117,845 votes.

In his words: “This decisive victory represents the collective will of the people of Ondo State, who have chosen a visionary leader committed to advancing the state towards economic growth, sustainable development, and improved livelihoods for all citizens.”

Hon. Adegoroye also expressed profound gratitude to the residents of Odigbo Local Government for their exceptional efforts in mobilising support and voting en masse for Governor Aiyedatiwa.

“Their unwavering dedication was instrumental in achieving this landmark success,” he said. “With this renewed mandate, there is strong assurance that Ondo State is set to witness transformative progress. Governor Aiyedatiwa’s proven leadership promises a new era of growth and prosperity for the state.”

Similarly, a member of the House of Assembly representing Odigbo Constituency 1, Hon. Ifabiyi Olatunji, congratulated Governor Aiyedatiwa on his landslide victory in the gubernatorial election.

In a statement made available to our correspondent, Ifabiyi described the victory of Governor Aiyedatiwa and the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a testament to good governance that transcends the present administration in Ondo State and Nigeria.

He commended the citizens of the state for the trust reposed in the APC’s governorship candidate and for choosing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as their preferred leader to better Ondo State.

“Congratulations to you, Mr Governor, and the good people of Ondo State,” Ifabiyi stated. “The recent triumph of Governor Aiyedatiwa and the APC reflects the excellent work of the current government in Ondo State.”

He further assured citizens that the new administration would usher in a promising era.

“I want to assure you that the new administration will be a great advantage for us all,” he said. “I thank all citizens of this state for their good behaviour during the recent exercise.”

Hon. Ifabiyi also urged candidates from other political parties who participated in the election to collaborate with Governor Aiyedatiwa to advance the state’s progress.

“What other candidates need to do now is to work together and support Governor Aiyedatiwa in taking Ondo State to greater heights,” he advised.
