The Chairman of Odigbo Local Government area of Ondo State, Taiwo Adegoroye, has urged parents and guardians to ensure their children receive vaccinations during the National Immunisation Plus Days.

“I strongly encourage all parents and guardians to prioritise bringing their children for vaccination this month. We fully support this initiative to protect the health of our community,” he stated.

The council chairman assured the immunisation team of a collaborative effort involving the local government, health workers, and community stakeholders to ensure the success of the campaign.

He explained that health workers would be deployed to health facilities, schools, churches, marketplaces, and motor parks, in addition to conducting house-to-house visits to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Adegoroye urged all residents to cooperate with health officials to ensure their children are protected from life-threatening diseases.
