Tthe Chairman of Odigbo Local Government Area, Mr Taiwo Adegoroye, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to driving developmental initiatives aimed at transforming the area.
Speaking at a stakeholders’ meeting held recently in Ore, Adegoroye restated his administration’s unwavering dedication to progress and inclusive growth across the local government.
According to him, “My administration’s commitment to developmental initiatives is not just a promise but a guarantee. We are determined to drive progress and growth in Odigbo Local Government, and we will stop at nothing to achieve our developmental goals.”
The council boss noted that the focus of his administration extends beyond infrastructural development to improving the overall quality of life for residents through various social and economic programmes.
“Our commitment to development is holistic we have been working tirelessly to enhance the welfare of our people through initiatives that promote economic empowerment, education and social inclusion,” he added.
Adegoroye also highlighted some of the key achievements recorded under his administration and called for sustained unity and active civic participation among residents.
He further stressed the importance of obtaining Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), describing it as the only legitimate means through which citizens can exercise their franchise.
“Obtaining your PVC is not just a right but a responsibility that empowers you to shape the future of our local government,” he said.
He urged all eligible citizens to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise to register and participate in the electoral process.
“Let us seize this opportunity to register and exercise our right to vote, thereby determining the future of our local government and our nation,” Adegoroye added.
