The All Progressives Congress (APC), Odigbo Local Government chapter, has described the Saturday elections as credible, fair, free and peaceful.
APC chairman, Odigbo Local Government, Alhaji Fatai told The Hope correspondent on telephone yesterday that the results of the elections when released will reflect the wishes of people.
“The turn out during the elections on Saturday was impressive and the process was peaceful. It was a serious contest but I’m sure APC will still win.
The APC Youth leader, Ore ward, Mr. Abideen Abass said the elections result will shock many because people trooped out en-masse to vote their conscience without any intimidation.
“In Ore, the crowd was massive and the exercise went smoothly. “I believe politicians will learn from the outcome of the results. It will shock many”.
Also, an elder in Odigbo, Mr. Babawale Philip said the election was peaceful in the area, adding that election suppose to be a contest not a battle ground.
“People are more enlightened now; they know more about the political process and this election testified to that”.
