Odimayo tasks Health Ministry on performance index

The Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Health, Prof. Michael Odimayo, has emphasised the need to accelerate the activities of the state’s Ministry of Health to enhance performance in line with the government’s vision.
He spoke during a meeting with the ministry’s management team, led by the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Adeniran Ikuomola, at his office in Akure.
Prof. Odimayo reaffirmed the government’s commitment to advancing the health sector in the state, stating that “it aligns with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision for effective, accountable, sustainable, and equitable healthcare delivery under our EASE mantra.”
He stressed the importance of collective effort to achieve the desired results, saying, “Time is not on our side. We need to start working immediately to see tangible outcomes.”
Earlier, Dr. Adeniran Ikuomola highlighted several ongoing projects within the ministry, including a partnership to launch an Essential Medicine List between March 17 and 20, 2025.
He also mentioned the Star Project, which aims to expand specific hospitals across the state.
