Odo Isaye FC defeats Powerline FC, Ijoka

It was an interesting and entertaining encounter between Odo isaye FC Oke- Aro and Powerline FC Ijoka during the final match of Hon Kemisola street soccer football competition played at the Ondo state sports complex ,in Akure the state capital.

The final match ended in a barren draw in the first 45 minutes of the game .

Odo Isaye showed their superiority in the 55th minute when they scored a beautiful goal from across.

The coordinated Odo Idaye boys added two more goals at the 60th and 80th minute .

All efforts from Powerline FC to get a consolated goal was not successful as Odo iyase FC locked their back four till the end of the 90minutes.

The match ended in a 3- 0 in favour of Odo isaye FC of Oke Aro. While Araromi Igoba defeated Ayede Ogbese 3-0 to emerge

winner of the 3rd place of the competition.

The winner of the competition went home with the cash prize of three hundred thousand naira, while the second runner up and 3rd place went home with two hundred thousand naira and One hundred thousand naira only respectively.

Vincent Temitope Adebayo emerged the most valuable player of the tournament, and he will be travelling abroad on tour with the sponsor of the competition, Hon Kemi Adesanya, while Emmanuel Osu won the second best player of the tournament.

The thirty two participatory teams in the competition were all issued certificates of participation.

Present at the grand finale of the competition, were Ondo State commissioner for sports and youth development , Hon Saka Lawal Ogunleye, representative of the speaker of Ondo state House of Assembly, Hon Towase Kuti, former Ile -oluji local government caretaker chairman Hon Yetunde Dada, OSSC Acting GM, chief Wande Fabuluje , representatives of Ondo FA and host of others .
