ODSG assures women on support, cooperation

Ondo State Government will continue to recognise women of substance who work towards the development of the state.
The State Commissioner for works and Infrastructure, Engr Raheem Aminu gave the assurance while playing host to members of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Associations of Nigeria (FOMWAN) during a prayer visit held at his GRA resident in Owo at the weekend.
Aminu applauded FOMWAN for its various activities which he noted has impacted positively on the individuals, family, community and the state at large, promising them of his continuous support and cooperation.
The Assistant zonal Coordinator of FOWAN, Alhaja Idayat Jimoh applauded the commissioner for being worthy of emulation who she said deserves the backing of Muslim women.
She expressed that the visit was long overdue as women want to usher him into his new place of assignment with prayers to be successful in his endeavours.
Earlier, the State President of the association, Alhaja Aminat Akinpelumi applauded him for his hospitality, urging him to keep his faith stronger as more responsibilities awaits him.
She assured him of members’ cooperation and support, saying that women will continue to pray for his success.
The FOMWAN state Chairman of Community Development Committee, Alhaja Rafat Momoh advised him to continue to be a source of joy and good ambassador of the people in general, describing him as a man with uncommon behavior.
The State Chief (Dawah) officer Alhaja Medinat Omikunle prayed for his success, urging him to have a good working relationship with his subordinates and principal officers.
