The Ondo State Ministry of Information and Orientation has commenced a hit programme on the airwaves targeting the very active segment of the populace to achieve value orientation hinged on Yoruba traditional family values and rich cultural heritage of Omoluabi ethos.

The programme, ‘Atunluto’ anchored by the Ondo state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Yeye-Oba Bamidele Ademola-Olateju is on Adaba and Crest FM with a premiere edition introducing eight thematic areas of the Omoluabi ethos of; politeness, respect, kindness, truthfulnes, character, enterprise, hard work and sensibility.

Callers on the programme have commended the initiative which they described as the right approach in dealing with systematic degradation of values that is threatening the moral fabric of the Yoruba and Nigeria.

They are of the view that the programme will help to set moral standards, re-orient the public and conscientize the people particularly the active segment of the populace who are fundamental to bringing about positive change.

The programme which will in the first eight editions deal with specific issues that border on the ills of the society will in subsequent editions devolve to mass orientation for the restoration of values.

The Commissioner, Yeye-Oba Bamidele Ademola-Olateju who is the Executive Producer of ‘Atunluto’ said the younger generations are the target through a creative approach for an all-inclusive buy-in.

According to her, the programme is simultaneously being cascaded on various social media platforms for seamless accessibility.
