Determined to bridge the infrastructural defect in the state, Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu,  has disclosed that the present administration has constructed various kilometres of roads of about fourteen out of the eighteen local governments across the three Senatorial Districts of the state.

The Governor made the disclosure during his inspection tour of the ongoing construction of the first-of-its-kind Fly-over bridge in Ore, Odigbo local government area of the state.

He said despite the state’s lean purse, the present government is turning the state into a construction site with various projects that impact positively on the lives of people of the state.

Akeredolu who noted that only a few parts of the state have not benefited from the road projects, assured that such areas would be touched and called for patient, saying he is taking the projects one at a time.

Governor Akeredolu however stated that the Fly-over bridge, when completed, would enable free-flow of trafficks as well as reducing to its barest minimum, the incessant road crashes that had claimed many lives in the past.

Also, Special Adviser to the Governor on Works and Infrastructure, Engr Raimi Aminu said drilling and piling as well as foundation for the all-important project would commence as soon as demolition is completed.

Speaking on behalf of Cranebarg Construction Company, the firm handling the project, Engr Tony Salloum assured that the project would be ready within the contract duration of one year.
