The Ondo State Government has again declared today as work-free day for public servants.
The governor had earlier declared March 10, 2023 as public holiday but later reviewed it to today as a result of the postponement of the gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections by the electoral umpire.
According to a statement from the office of the Head of Service, Pastor Kayode Ogundele, the Work-Free Day earlier fixed for March 10,2023 will now be observed today Friday 17.
Pastor Ogundele said the holiday is in recognition of the need for some officers to travel to areas where they registered to vote.
