Aribo  observed that  the state is yet to be sufficient in food production even when more people are showing interest in agriculture which necessitated  the celebration of the world food day.

He expressed  that the low food production could be improved upon if people embark on massive food production, as he called on government at all levels to show more passion for agricultural development.

The equipment were made available by Rural Electicfication Agency (REA)/ FADAMA in partnership with the Ondo State Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to enhance food sufficiency while facing climate change.

Earlier in  his welcome address,  the Permanent Secretary of the ministry,  Mr Edward Ogunmola, who was represented by the Director of Finance and Administration, Mr Tope Lebile said World Food Day is celebrated yearly  to promote  the global awareness and action for those who suffer from hunger
