ODSG honours outstanding officers

The Ondo State Government has recognised four  deserving officers of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, especially the Produce and Forestry sub-sector  who  distinguished themselves in their duties.

The Commissioner for Agriculture and Forestry, Mr. Olayato Aribo, said this during the presentation of the awards to the officers at the Ministry’s headquarters, Alagbaka, Akure.

Aribo said that the awards were to celebrate success and recognise hard working officers to encourage others .

He noted that the management of the ministry deemed it necessary  to recognise deserving  officers who had distinguished themselves in their duties in the  realisation  of the mandate of the ministry, which is revenue generation.

 Aribo charged officers in the ministry to double their efforts, especially those on field and  work hard in terms of revenue generation so that the ministry could meet this year’s revenue generation target.

He, therefore congratulated the awardees to see the award  as  a challenge  and charged them do more so that they can beat last year’s records.

Mr  David Adesina  congratulated the awardees   and appreciated them for their hard work, dedication, competence and exceptional level of commitment in the discharge of their duties

Speaking  on behalf of the awardees, Mr. Omoniyi Aroge said the honour accorded them would spur them to do better and promised that they would continue to maintained high level of decipline and dedication to their duties.

Those awarded were; Mr. Kayode Oguntimehin, Mr. Omoniyi Aroge, Mr. Folorunsho Fatona and Mr. Abbas Oshodi
