‘ODSG ‘ll partner stakeholders for cleaner environment’

Ondo State Commissioner for Environment, Mr. Sunday Akinwalire has reiterated government’s commitment towards collaborating with stakeholders in ensuring a cleaner  State.

He spoke while playing host to the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) in Akure.

According to him, the state is always prepared to collaborate with investors in the area of environmental sustainability.

He lauded the association for their initiative of cleaning the state through its project tagged: “clean city project”, adding that the group will assist in the area of climate change.

He stated that involvement of the group will assist the government in achieving its target of making the state the cleanest in the country.

Speaking earlier, NAOSS National President, Oyelade Ahmed explained that the visit was aimed at partnering with the Ministry of Environment on its proposed project; “clean city project”.

He noted that it will help in promoting cleanliness and sensitise residents on the need to embrace healthy living by maintaining a clean environment.
