ODSG sets to hold economic devt summit
… to commemorate June 12

As part of the development plan of the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s administration, all is now set for this year’s ‘develop Ondo Investment and Economic Summit.’
The summit will hold between June 13 and 15 2023 at the International Cultural and event center is aimed at showcasing the investment opportunities and competitive advantage of Ondo State both to local and international investors.
Speaking on its focus, Ondo State Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Engr. Razaq Obe said the summit will have its focus on five main themes.
“This year’s summit will majorly center on energy, non-energy investments, tourism, investor showcase and donor roundtable.
He said “this will present a unique opportunity for ministries, departments and agencies to showcase their activities, achievements and to as well network with global investors in line with this administration’s REDEEMED agenda.”
He called on all concerned ministries and agencies in the state to take advantage of the much anticipated event.
Meanwhile, the Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu has approved the celebration of this year’s democracy day in order to mark the 30th anniversary of the historic June 12 Presidential election.
This was contained in a letter signed by Samuel Omoba, the acting Permanent Secretary, Department of Political and Economic Affairs, Governor’s Office.
The event which will be marked with a public lecture titled “Democracy, Development and Political Stability in Nigeria” is scheduled to hold next Monday at the International Culture and Event Center
Omoba urged all officers on grade level 13 and above across all ministries within the state to attend the lecture.
