Ogo Akure Mandate Group commends Oluwatuyi’s visionary leadership

The Convener of the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group, Hon. Ayodeji DF Oluleye, has extended heartfelt birthday felicitations to Comrade Adekambi Oluwatuyi, the Youth Leader (“Olori Ọdọ”) of Akure, describing him as “a visionary leader, exceptional community mobiliser, and one of the most consistent voices of youth representation in Akure and Ondo State.”

Hon. Oluleye, recalling their shared history in student leadership, described Comr. Oluwatuyi as “a born leader whose passion for service and people engagement has defined his lifelong journey.”

> “Our paths crossed in 2007 when he served as the President of the Student Union Government at Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo, while I was Secretary-General of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. Even then, Comr. Tuyi stood out for his courage, charisma, and capacity to mobilise across campuses and communities,” Oluleye said.

He noted that Comr. Oluwatuyi’s record remains unbeaten, having served as SUG President in two different tertiary institutions at different times — “a feat that speaks to his extraordinary leadership gift, popularity, and the trust he commands among young people.”

Hon. Oluleye further recalled traveling alongside Comr. Oluwatuyi’s delegation to the National Students’ Summit in Abuja in 2007, held at the invitation of the Federal Ministry of Education.

“At that summit, Tuyi led the Ondo contingent with confidence and distinction — speaking boldly, intelligently, and convincingly. He captured the attention of stakeholders from across the 36 states. That moment reinforced his place as a leader of leaders in our generation,” Oluleye remarked.

He added that Comr. Oluwatuyi’s evolution from student leadership to community service — now serving as Youth Leader of Akure — demonstrates consistency, maturity, and devotion to the common good.

“Comrade Tuyi continues to be a rallying point for Akure youth — a bridge between generations and a unifying voice for progressive engagement. On behalf of the Ògo Àkúré Mandate Group, I celebrate his life of purpose, resilience, and impact,” Oluleye said.

He prayed for greater wisdom, health, and grace upon Comr. Oluwatuyi as he continues to inspire young people toward leadership, peacebuilding, and community development.
