Okada rider dies in autocrash

It was wailing and weeping at Shagari Village in Akure yesterday when a  28 -year- old motor cyclist popularly known  as Alpha lost his life in an  accident that occurred in the area.

The Okada man who died on  the spot was  said  to have been coming from Oluform area, heading  towards Agbogbo area when he suddenly ran into an oncoming vehicle which reportedly hit  him as the three passengers he picked were critically injured.

His passengers were said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital.

An eye witness told The  Hope Metro that the Okada rider was on high speed and suddenly ran into the  vehicle which caused  the accident.

When The Hope Metro visited the scene of the accident,  sympathisers were seen weeping while the remains of the deseased was seen lying on the ground with his intestine gushed out from his body.

A road safety officer, who did not want his name to be mentioned, described the incident as unfortunate and advised motorists and Okada riders to be more careful and obey traffic rules and regulations.
