Okitipupa LG chairman-elect Ogunsakin vows quick action on flooding

Okitipupa Local Government Chairman-elect, Andrew Ogunsakin, has promised swift intervention after assessing flood-affected areas in Okitipupa township.
Calling the situation alarming, he assured residents that his administration would prioritize environmental management and infrastructure development to prevent future floods.


“This is a serious concern, and I guarantee immediate action. We will work with relevant agencies to implement lasting solutions to mitigate flooding in our communities,” he said.
Ogunsakin also urged residents to help maintain drainage systems and avoid actions that obstruct waterways.
Reaffirming his commitment to proactive measures like improved drainage and proper urban planning, he pledged to uphold his campaign promises and ensure the safety and well-being of Okitipupa residents.
