…set to organise global concerts

An entertainment outfit, Olantech Stepladder Entertainment, has unveiled plans to promote African entertainers across the globe through its structured platform and international network.

The founder, Anthony Olaoye-A, in an interview with Friday Extravaganza, disclosed that the organisation began operations five years ago with a few members, both within and outside Nigeria.

He said the group has grown steadily through collective efforts, with members supporting one another in their business and entertainment pursuits.

Olantech Stepladder Entertainment, which is registered in Nigeria, also has a promotional arm known as Olantech Global Promotions, based in the United States.

According to Olaoye-A, the American subsidiary was established to facilitate the movement of artistes to the United States, while the Nigerian arm coordinates activities locally and across Africa.

“We all promote ourselves on our business and entertainment levels,” he said.

He noted that the platform accommodates various categories of professionals in the creative sector, including instrumentalists, journalists, lawyers and other entertainers.

He emphasised the importance of entertainment in human development, saying it plays a vital role in the lives of both young people and adults.

“Entertainment is very, important in our lifetime, both youth and adults. Music is the food of love. The proverbs say no one is an island. This organisation was formed to promote youth and adults in Africa and internationally,” he stated.

Olaoye-A added that the group regularly conducts interviews involving both local and international entertainers to discuss experiences and industry trends. These sessions, he said, serve to educate both established and upcoming artistes about the realities of the entertainment industry.

“Olantech Stepladder Entertainment always has an interview with local and international entertainers by doing a group interview to have more experience in the entertainment industry, the pros and cons in the music industry, the Genesis and the revelation. We always get ideas from all our experienced entertainers and the upcoming entertainers,” he said.

He explained that appointments of patrons, matrons and advisers within the organisation are made based on merit and experience.

“The criteria that Olantech Global Promotions used to appoint our life patrons, matrons and advisers are based on the belief that experience is the best teacher. You cannot elect officers who lack experience. All the individuals selected are highly qualified,” he added.

Looking ahead, he revealed that the organisation is preparing to host a series of concerts across Nigeria, Africa and internationally, as part of its expansion and talent promotion strategy.

“Very soon, with the help of Olantech Stepladder Entertainment, we will organise concerts in Nigeria, Africa and internationally,” he said.
